Research In Motion (RIMM) will be reporting its third fiscal quarter after the close tonight. Most of The Street is expecting the results to be in-line with prior guidance and I have no reason to believe that that will not be the case.

It appears 0% is here for the foreseeable future.
A year ago, the Federal Reserve took its key overnight lending rate, the fed funds rate, down to near 0% for the first time in its history in an effort to keep the economy from falling into depression.

Globalive to launch mobile phone service in Canada

TORONTO (AP) — The Canadian government said Friday that it has approved a request from Egyptian-backed telecom Globalive Wireless Management Corp. to launch its mobile phone service in Canada.
It will be the fourth major wireless company serving Canada, competing with Rogers Communications Inc., BCE Inc. and Telus Corp.
