Another Bad Day on the Stock Market
Lately the stock market is not doing too well. The US economy is struggling due to its weak currency, housing woes, and subprime credit problems. Many of the stocks lost a lot of value and they became very cheap right now. If you think about it, now it may be better to go short rather of going long, until the market begins to recover.
For example, one would have made much more money shorting CFC, as it is pretty much guaranteed to go bankrupt. ETFC is in a very similar situation, losing money quarter by quarter. Unless they get bought out by bigger companies, they cannot escape the fate of filing Chapter 11.
