Bargain Hunting
It seems that everywhere looks like a bargain right now, especially the tech, retail, and finance sectors. The prices of oil and gold has risen too high in the past few days due to the weakened US dollar. It is the same news about the US credit crisis over and over again.
The US government should work on solving the root of the problem rather than providing a quick fix. I believe the US economy will turn around in the second half of the year, probably in summer or fall '08, when elections begin to heat up.
It is a good idea to either go short or trade stocks now given the state of the economy. It is not a good time to invest because stocks may drop further before seeing any significant uptrend. The stock market will probably bounce in the next few days but will continue the downtrend very soon.
